What the contraption?

From the Magic Comprehensive Rules:

"204.3f Artifacts have their own unique set of subtypes; these subtypes are called artifact types. The artifact types are Contraption, Equipment (see rule 301.5), and Fortification (see rule 301.6)."

Does this mean Contraptions are certainly showing up in SoM? It's been giggled about since Time Spiral and Steamflogger Boss, but the rules support Contraptions being a legit Artifact subtype.

imagine the following:

Coffee Cup - 3
Legendary Artifact - Contraption
3, tap: put target permanent an opponent controls in the command zone.
"Ohh, geez. Didn't mean to get coffee on that. Sorree!"

Mana Myr back

on salvation they've got Silvr Myr in their spoiler thingo, it only makes sense that the entire cycle would come back. If so, new art please! That'd be so awesome
