I'm bored so yeah...

Having correctly predicted Jace and Chandra would be in Zendikar after the duel decks and web comics last year, I'm making more predictions on planeswalkers in Mirrodin.

On the 26.6.10 I made another prediction on http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=252317

"Garruk and Liliana will be battling it out here and Tezzeret will be there presumably, with Elspeth too. Remember Jace vs Chandra led to them being in Zendikar and Worldwake. The storyline of Liliana and Garruk will continue in Mirrodin and Tezzeret's battle with Elspeth is likely to start here."

The basis of this prediction was the duel decks and the comics of Garruk vs Liliana. Jace and Chandra came out in November 7 2008 with the original Jace vs Chandra comic following in the next year and Zendikar out in October. With Garruk vs Liliana it was out on October 30 2009 and Mirrodin will be out on October 1. Very similar time frame.

Their story is bound to lead somewhere and then they will receive their new cards too. Now that recently we had a strong sign that Elspeth and Tezzeret would be in (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=255901) and Karn is also looking likely to be in (http://forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=256141), I think we might have even have 6 or 7 planeswalkers in Mirrodin. Remember MaRo has stated that Planeswalkers will not always be in cycles anymore.

My prediction of the planeswalkers:
Elspeth - White
Karn - Blue or Colorless
Tezzeret - Blue, Black or maybe both
Liliana - Black
Garruk - Green
New Red Walker
Possibly another walker that could be any colour

What are your predictions of the Planeswalkers to appear in the new Mirrodin Block?

We all know that the ROE Limited Format will be a very slow one from the few cards spoiled so far. I'm very uncertain on how to approach this set in sealed and drafts. Let's try discuss and find an ideal approach for this set based on what we know so far.

1. Lands
How many lands will you play? LSV stated it might be ok to play 19-20 lands, depending on the deck. Some people are suggesting to stick to 18. What are your thoughts?
I feel inclined to play 19 lands, assuming I have no ramp and my deck's curve is considered 'normal' for this format, which we are still uncertain of.

2. Archetypes
What archetypes do you think will be played? What archetype are you interested in?
I'm interested in playing U/R/G defenders.

3. Picks
What cards spoiled so far are guaranteed to be your 1st picks?
I'm still not very sure but on the top of my head, I will be 1st picking Deathless Angel, All is Dust and Corpsehatch.

4. Things to remember and to make good decisions on
Remembering Rebound and leveling up correctly are mine. Probably better to draw first. LSV said that too.

5. Anything else?

Discuss away guys!
