OK so a mate of mine got me back into magic after a very long break, haven't played since darksteel came out and so most of my haves are from before then, with probably the majority being from Onslaught (if you're after un/commons from ON or 8th chances are I can dig them out for you). The haves are listed by colour and then alphabetically, jank and all, i suggest you either scroll through or ctrl+f for stuff.

Cards are listed with number of, name and set with any other comments following. I have noted a few cards as played, these are just the ones that I can tell are played while they are in the folder, some others may be in less than nm condition, I will confirm condition for people before finalising trades, if you are particularly concerned about condition because you are collecting or w/e then please lmk and i can send you scans of them or some such. With the older sets without symbols (A-5th) I am pretty rusty at picking which is which so I've made semi-educated guesses and listed them with ?, if the set is important to you make sure you lmk and either I can look up the differences and check or I can just send you a scan and you can check

I am also happy to sell cards on occasion, just pst or pm with an offer and I will consider it.

Regarding send order, I understand my long absence may be cause for concern for some, as such if you are a veteran with a lenghty ref list I am happy to send first if requested, for the most part I expect simul-send, if you are really new then I may ask you to send first. my refs can be found here

I have returned (note dragoon voice)

So as the title suggests, I am back after a looooonng absence. I moved from coffs harbour to brisbane for uni almost 5 years ago now, didn't take my cards and until the past few weeks haven't played or thought about mtg since then. Couple weeks ago one of my mates decided we should start playing again from out of the blue so I've bought a few M10 and zen boosters (and done wellll out of them btw - ie baneslayer angel and a foil drowned catacombs). Should have my old cards coming up from coffs with my dad tonight, so depending on what I find amongst them and how I feel about them, I may have a bunch of cards for sale soon (I played mostly during onslaught block so that is what I expect to find) we shall see.

at the moment I am looking to build a type 2 deck or 2 and see how that treats me. Never played in brisbane before so if anyone can point me towards somewhere people play socially and or trade would be much appreciated, found a few places that run FNM but I'd like to get some social games and trading in before playing in any tournies.

could someone clarify what happens (ie run through all the stuff that goes on) after the second main phase?

it was my understanding that at the end of the 2nd main phase there is the end phase at the start of which all effects that trigger "at end of turn" will trigger once and only once and go on the stack (active player's first and then in order chosen by controllers where multiple effects are concerned) any abilitys that will trigger at end of turn that are played after this will have to wait until the end of next turn to trigger eg the delayed triggered ability that astral slide sets up to return the creature to play.

after all these abilities resolve and both players pass priority the end of the end phase happens where all the things that last "until end of turn" such as giant growth end and damage is removed from creatures all simultaneously without using the stack - it just happens and then you discard down to 7 cards and it is the other players turn

maybe i am missing something here but i have been told i am wrong about astral slide and etc many times so could someone please tell me proprely what happens at end of turn?
